We had about eight kids and four moms. Candace was amazing and took all the pictures for us!
Fireman Mike showed us what to do if we hear the alarms in the middle of the night. Trevor was an expert model! He felt the door with the back of his hand and since it was hot went right to the window.

Since Trevor came with his own gear he was able to race Fireman Mike to get their gear on. Everyone was pretty excited and Mike was really great about telling them with each new piece that he wasn't changing and was still Fireman Mike. It went really well until the air tank and face mask. He talked while he was putting it on and while he had it on but still about half of the kids were still scared.

While he had all of his gear on Fireman Mike showed us how to call "Help Help" if we were trapped in our room and there was a fire. Henry volunteered to be "rescued" to show us how it would happen.
After Fireman Mike finished we gave him our card that we had made and a bunch of sugar cookies to share at the firestation. Alestair was very excited to give him his cookie. I think it might have been because he knew that he would be leaving then.
