Finally We Left the Hospital!!! 08

Although it is nice to be at the hospital and be able to rest; with all that went on we didn't get too much rest since nurses and doctors were in about every 3 hours. It was exhasting! We got to go home (all three of us!) on July 3rd right in time for the fireworks!

It was over 100 when we left the hospital. I am so glad we have A/C!!

The First Three Days 08

Just after getting cleaned up Alestair was put under lights to warm up while dad took pictures and mom got ready to hold Alestair. They have what is called baby low-jack at the Northridge hospital and it was very amussing for Robert and I to see this on Alestair and the other babies in the nursery as it looked like they were all on house arrest or something. This was the first time that Robert, Alestair and I were left alone and pretty much what we all felt like doing. what cute face to wake up to at 1am in the morning!

Alestair Leimana Butler entered the world at 7:56am on July 1, 2008. He weighed in at 7lbs 6oz and measured 20.5 in long.
