last day with Misty

Misty and her friend Charles refused to believe that San Diego was really as awesome as I raved. Yet they still decided to let me take them there. This is us at Balboa Park. We got to see part of the photography museam and a san diego museam and the flower museam. it was a lot of fun. There was also a strange little man standing on people and a magic man. We didnt get to do everything since we got there a little late, but we did enough that Charles now says that he is going to live there. :)

On January First 2009...

We got to have Aunt Misty and her friend Charles come over. They got to us about 5am on New Year's Day. We took a nap for a few hours (Robert and I celebrated New Years Eve at about 9pm). We went to the beach and then we celebrated New Years Eve again at 8pm. This continued until Misty and Charles left. It was very enjoyable. Misty will be happy to know that the Applebees with the lovely garden patch pizza is no longer open. I know we will miss this. We went to the beach on January First 2009. This seemed to be something extremely special for some of us :) It was Alestair's second trip (first that he actually got to play and see things a bit. His stroller does not roll in sand-see picture. We saw this HUGE bird I don't know what it is. We got very close to it and it was HUGE!

We went walking around this very very tiny ocean town and there was this sign that said "best butt on the beach" and misty posed robert and i in the above positions.

Uncle Eric has a dog named Zeus. He is a very sweet dog. I have never seen him get short or snippy with anyone or thing. Alestair loved him. Not that Alestair has meet a dog he doesn't like but Zeus was big enough for a ride. Uncle Eric helping of course, Alestair thought it was fun!

Christmas Day

So I am a horrible mother and forgot to keep my camera snapping through Alestair's 1st Christmas. Luckily Auntie Wendy saved us and took more pics than I think anyone in my family has ever taken in one day...However we are still waiting on those. Auntie Wendy has been very busy getting awesome grades on her tests :) We are proud!!

Christmas Eve with the Butler Family

We were so happy that everyone was able to come to WA from both sides. Christmas Eve was celebrated with the Butler side. Even Santa came! We had a wonderful time!! Thank you to everyone for all of the wonderful gifts!
