We got a new fridge. I painted the boys faces while we waited. It kept them contained and allowed the big guys to move it in without little boys help :)

Our Garden 2011

Its been a rough start but our garden is looking pretty good now! The slugs got our zuccini and the tomatoes are no where near ripe. I hope that by October the are ready so we can do something with them :) Alestair was watching Curious George and after watching him make a scarecrow decided our garden needed one too. So we made one out of some old clothes and Alestair drew a face.

Jetty Island Take 2 2011

This time we took Becky and Aubrey with us. We thought it was going to rain so we packed extra warm clothes for the kids to change into. Little did we know that once we got there it would be very hot!

 It was quite an awesome day! We had so much fun playing in the water.

It was very low tide when we arrived at 1pm.  Around 2:30 the tide started coming and it came in FAST! The water was sooo clear! I don't think I have ever seen ocean water this clear in Washington. We all played in it as it came in and the kids tried to swim in it. Which is scary but I suppose good for them. Once again poor Emmett was exhasted by the end of it and both my boys were asleep by the time we got home.

Playing around. Alestair and Aubrey chased each other after they were done in the water. We tried to dry out their clothes but that didn't work out so well as they were sooo wet :)
