Emmett's spider bite

I am starting to think this child seems to get all the weird things happening here. Wilst playing outside he rubbed his eye. I thought "This is good he will finally take a nap!" When he woke up he was swollen. I made and apptment for this doctor for the morning. Of course this happens after hours. So we go in. They tell me that he was bit and that benedryl should help with the itching. It didn't. Poor boy!

Slow start

So I guess I was a bit slow today. Alestair decided to help himself and his little brother to breakfast.

While I was helping Alestair in the bathroom Emmett decided that we were too slow at getting the rest of his breakfast so he ate Alestair's. Notice the cherrio stuck to his head? Yeah he spilt it on the table and lapped it up like a dog. Seriously this kid!

The last pool day of 2011

Robert pulled out the pool and filled it all up for some last really warm day fun with Alestair. Emmett was napping. Alestair made whirlpools with Robert and the sprayed eachother and he showed of his swimming skills. It was freezing since it wasn't really really warm just about 72 or so.

Emmett joined in once he woke up. He was over joyed. I swear he is part water mammal. He RAN to the pool I hardly had time to snap his diaper on him.

Cloth diaper bum is seriously cute. I mean REALLY cute :)

Obviously this adventure today really tired Alestair and Anabel out. They both crashed on the couch.

Zoo trip with Ashley Farley

I took the boys to the Woodland Park Zoo to meet my friend Ashley. We haven't been able to get together since Alestair was 9mo old. It took a while but by the time we got back to the car. Alestair was asking why Ashley couldn't live with us because she had a dog and apparently that is what you need to move in here.

They have a lot of fun kids climb around on areas. Alestair really liked the petting zoo area and their goats. He told me he was taking them home and they were sad so he made them happy. Emmett was having a heart attack trying to pet the sheep who did not want to be petted.
