Cider Pressing!!!

A most fun tradition of my family is cider pressing! Aunt Wendy met us at the Meeker Mansion in Puyallup to do this. We ended up with 6 1/2 gallons of cider! The man in the picture is Alan Manning. He made the cider press himself and sent me the plans to build it. It was soo much fun! Alestair had a great time. He ran around eating apples and getting into things. Aunt Wendy bought him two squishy rubber ducks. So much fun!!!

1st Airplane!

Our dear friend Bill Linquist asked us to come when he went through the temple before we moved up here. We promised and the day came so we made a trip to LA! We were lucky enough to find very good fairs on Virgin Air and went by plane. Alestair LOVED the airport and watching all of the planes come and go while waiting for ours. The Seattle airport is very very nice especially at 6 in the morning. Alestair fell asleep as soon as the landing came off the runway and didn't wake up until we just before we landed. Absoultly no crying and perfect behavior. Nothing like we expected. He did this on the ride home as well. Virgin Air is a very fun plane-they have a TV screen for each person you can watch movies, tv, or your flight. You can order food from your seat and you are sitting in leather seats very cushy. We were very pleased!

This is what we got to sit next to wait for our plane. It is a mosaic but doesn't look like it. It was amazing. So I took a picture. I really wanted to just chop it down and take it home with me but that wouldn't work. Anyway now you all know what to get me for Christmas:)

The Western Washington Fair Grounds

Grandma Fee and Aunt Stacy came up to go to the Puyallup Fair with us. It was a blast! We went on a sky ride that took us over the fair to the other side where we got lost for the 3rd time. We also saw many many cute little animals. Alestair's favorite were the little tiny chicks (in the picture) they were so adorable. He didnt like the bunnies much but loved the pigs and cows. He went on his first bus ride and really liked to pull the stop alarm. It was a great day!

Helping cousin

Dave came up with Hadley and Kim to get tomatoes. Alestair loves to play with Hadley and Kim. He pushed Hadley on the trike for a long time. It was adorable! Kim tried to build him a castle with his legos but as soon as it got 3 high he would knock it down. We can't wait for Kim and Hadley to come again!

Cabela's

Grammie came with Sister Ricks, Charlie and Anna to go to Cabela's. Grammie and I had saved up some money to spend there after seeing such wonderful things in July. Unfortuntaly they did not have what I needed but Grammie found some amazing dishes!
They had a very nice camping chair for kids which was 20 dollars. The same price that I would pay for an adult chair. I was told by the sales lady that the Cabela's chair was the cheapest childs chair that could hold and adult and lock and have a cup holder. Let me just say that a few days later I found a BETTER chair for Alestair at KMart for 10 dollars. It has a lock, cup holder and a cut puppy shape as well as holding my weight.
If this were in a different fabric I might consider it. It rocks while its reclined and Alestair LOVED it. Charlie had a good time as well.
All said and done...after taking a very long drive and not finding much it was a wonderful trip! Anna and Charlie were very fun. I think that Robert had the most fun since he took them to the laser range after lunch. We will need to do this again!!

Happy 21st Aunt Stacy!

Aunt Stacy turned 21 this year and as this was very exciting Grandma Fee and some friends planned an awesome surprise party. Although the party part didn't really become as much a surprise as was thought; we were. Apparently neither Grandma Fee or Stacy was expecting us from so far away. ;) We are good!

The Cake

Eating of the cake and HOMEMADE ice cream.

The presents...Wow how many there are!

The present from Alestair and Little Apollo...of course Alestair had to help. For the paper.
Aunt: Like Mom Only Cooler
As you can see from the picture this is totally true.
