After Shopping

On a very wet day here (the first in who knows how long) we went to Carter's after realizing that Alestair did not have warm clothes for wet weather. Knowing that we were going to be in wet weather for Christmas..the choice was obvious. However we were all very tired after the trip and Robert and Alestair feel asleep as soon as we walked in the door and found the couch.

Gingerbread

Robert and I watched a special on gingerbread houses and as always withthe food channel we were inspired. This time it was more Robert. He went nuts and decided to build his own gingerbread house. This is only the first. He has another one in progress. It turned out really well. We melted sugar to make windows and are still looking for candies to decorate the house with. I think we have a new tradition!

Our big boy

Alestair is growing so big. He is now able to pull himself up on things like people and toys (a little harder than people). He also has figured out that he can roll across the room. This is a bit worrysome to Robert and I as we didn't expect him to be so quick on things like this but I guess we had no choice we should have known when the OB told us that he was a very active baby before he was even born. I love when he sleeps although now he is so into rolling that he gets himself stuck in his blankets even if you tuck them down the sides of his crib. We have to tie his arms down in his blankets when we first lay him down or he will play with his binky and make helicopter nosies until he is frusterated that he is too tired to sleep.

Reading Space

Since we were able to rearrage furiture when we brought it back into the living room. We found space for a small reading chair and table.

As you can see Alestair likes it as well as Robert and I.

Carpet Cleaning!!

Afyter nearly 3 years we finally got our carpets cleaned. To prepare for this we had to stick all of the furniture in our two bedrooms and out of the living room. thus we could really only be in the living room. I found my boys watching tv on the floor the night before the cleaning. it was really cute

Surprise!!

After Thanksgiving we got a surpise visit from our friends the Hills. They moved to Colorado about a year ago and we have only been able to see them twice since then. Jamieson and Kaelyn are so big now. Kaelyn really like Alestair and kept finding his "binks" and trying to get them in his mouth.

Happy Thanksgiving

Our little Thanksgiving. Robert wanted to cook this year so I got a pass! We found baby turkey for Alestair (pre approved by his doctor). Alestair didnt seem to like/dislike it but the next poo was too much for Robert and I to take so that will be the last time he gets meat for a while.
